These three new Aldi chocolate bars with filling are the latest extension to the Time4Choco! range for Aldi Netherlands. Stepfive created the new packaging design for all three, in accordance with the Time4Choco! styleguide, which was developed by Stepfive too.

Last year there were still a few design agencies and food photographers present. Unfortunately, this 4th edition of the Packaging Innovations Event in Zaandam has become more and more a representation of the printing industry. Of course it’s always nice to meet colleagues in the profession to speak with, but you can barely still call it ‘the most innovative and inspirational packaging event’. Next year, a new opportunity?

Again another extension to the Time4Choco! range of chocolate products for Aldi Netherlands: Chocolate Chips in three variations. Concept and packaging design for these crispy chips-shaped chocolates is done by Stepfive Communication and Design. All three flavours have its own colour signing which corresponds with other Aldi chocolate products.

One of Aldi Netherlands chocolate private labels is Château. For their triangle chocolate packaging Stepfive created a fresh and modern concept and packaging design which emphasises the triangle shaped chocolate inside. This chocolate comes in two different flavours (plain milk and milk with almond honey).

A few months ago Stepfive created new foils for Aviko Foodservice Pom’ Fraîches. And now Stepfive was also asked to create the new packaging foils for their new product range: Premium Pom’ Fraîches. This packaging design resulted in a strong line of transparent foils with a full-colour print on top. Every different taste has its own unique colour and its own unique and tasteful visual. Premium Pom’ Fraîches has a higher positioning strategy than the ‘normal’ Pom’ Fraîches. The packaging is easy to use and recognizable for the professional who is used to the high standard of Dutch company Aviko.

Flavours of the Sun is a new Aldi Netherlands private label for mediterranean products (spreads mostly) like houmous and aioli. Stepfive conceptualized and created the complete brand identity for this new brand and also made the packaging labels for these products.

Typically packaged in pairs are these delicious Time4Choco! chocolate mini-bars for Aldi Netherlands. The bars consist of a biscuit finger with caramel on top, surrounded by a milk chocolate topping. Stepfive created silver foil wrappers for the Cookie Power mini-bars inside the bag, but also did the packaging design for the complete silver foil bag.

Each different take away meal has its own colour signing at the upper side of the box and a tasteful food visual on the front.
